PumpFun launch

The six-step launch wizard: token details, dev wallet, wallet pool, buy modes, bundle and snipe wallets, tips and the pre-flight balance check.

Pumpfun Launch creates a pump.fun token from your dev wallet, optionally has up to 3 more wallets buy it in the same Jito bundle, and optionally fires up to 50 snipe buys right after. It runs on Solana mainnet with real SOL. The wizard has six steps; steps that don't apply to the buy mode you pick are skipped.

Step 1: Token details

  • Name and Symbol (the symbol is upper-cased as you type). Both are required.
  • Token image: drop or pick an image. Required; launching without one stops with Upload a token image first.
  • Description: optional.
  • Platform is Pump.fun and the quote asset is SOL. Other launchpads shown on this step are not available yet.

When you launch, the name, symbol, description and image are uploaded to IPFS as the token's metadata.

Step 2: Dev wallet and wallet pool

Dev wallet

The dev wallet creates the token and appears on-chain as its creator. Pick an existing wallet, or click + Create New to make one named Dev wallet. Set the dev buy amount: how much SOL this wallet spends buying its own token in the creation transaction (0.01 by default; presets 0.05 to 2). A dev buy is always made and must be more than 0 and at most 100 SOL.

If the wallet can't cover the buy, the 0.5% platform fee and its buffer (see What each wallet needs), a red line shows how much it is short.

Wallet pool

The pool is the set of wallets you will assign to bundle and snipe buys in the next steps. Enter a number (1 to 100) and click Create New to create that many wallets, or click Select Existing to show your wallets.

To fund pool wallets right here, click wallets in the list (each gets 0.05 SOL by default; edit the amount in the row), choose a source in Fund from... and click Fund N. Which wallet does what, and the exact buy amounts, are set on the next steps.

Step 3: Buy mode

ModeWhat it doesNext steps
Dev Buy OnlyOnly the dev wallet buys, in the creation transaction.Review
BundleUp to 3 wallets buy in the same Jito bundle as the creation.Bundle wallets, review
SnipeUp to 50 wallets buy right after the token is created, each on its own.Snipe wallets, review
Launch + Bundle + SnipeBoth: up to 3 bundle wallets plus up to 50 snipe wallets.Bundle wallets, snipe wallets, review

Continue stays disabled until you pick a mode.

Step 4: Bundle wallets

Click a wallet row to assign it (it gets 0.05 SOL), type its buy amount in the row, or click Max. Click an assigned row again to remove it. The footer shows N/3 wallets assigned and the total. Once 3 are assigned, the other rows are greyed out.

  • Select all assigns the first 3 available wallets at 0.05 SOL each; when wallets are assigned it reads Clear all.
  • Max and Max all fill in the wallet's balance minus its 0.003 SOL buffer. The 0.5% platform fee comes on top of the buy, so after Max the wallet is flagged as slightly short; lower the amount a little.
  • The dev wallet and wallets already used for sniping are not listed.

Step 5: Snipe wallets

The same table as step 4, with up to 50 wallets (N/50 wallets assigned). Select all assigns up to 50 available wallets at 0.05 SOL each; Max uses the snipe buffer of 0.008 SOL. Bundle wallets can't also be snipe wallets.

Delay between wallets (0 to 5000 ms) staggers the snipe submissions: wallet number n starts n × the delay after the first, so the buys don't all leave at the same instant. 0 fires them all as fast as possible.

Step 6: Review and launch

The review shows how many wallets will buy, the total buy across all wallets, the dev buy, the buy mode, the bundle and snipe totals, the platform fee estimate and the Jito tips. Launch Token is disabled while any selected wallet is short of SOL; fund it on the step where it was flagged (the Fund panel appears on steps 2, 4 and 5).

While the launch runs, a log shows each stage. When it finishes, a result card shows the mint address with links to pump.fun and Solscan, and, on success, Manage — Buy & Sell opens the Terminal for the new token. With snipe wallets, the card also lists each one as Landed, Failed on-chain or Timed out.

What lands together and what doesn't

The launch bundle (atomic)

One Jito bundle carries, in order: the dev wallet's create + dev buy transaction, one buy transaction per bundle wallet (up to 3), and a final transaction that pays the 0.01 SOL Jito tip from the dev wallet and the platform fees of the dev and bundle buys. A Jito bundle lands all-or-nothing: either every transaction in it lands in the same block, in that order, or none of them do. Nobody else's buy can land between the creation and your bundle buys.

The bundle is signed once and the same transactions are re-sent to several Jito regions for up to 40 seconds until it lands. Because every resend carries the same signatures, it can land at most once.

The snipe wave (not atomic)

Snipe wallets only fire after the launch bundle has landed and the creation succeeded on-chain. Each snipe wallet then sends its own small Jito bundle (its buy plus a transaction paying its own 0.005 SOL tip and its platform fee), all in parallel apart from the optional delay, each retried for up to 20 seconds. They land independently, in whatever blocks they make it into after the launch, competing with every other buyer. One snipe wallet failing never affects the others or the launch.

If the launch bundle doesn't land
No snipe buys are sent. The dev and bundle wallets only spend SOL if the bundle lands, so a bundle that never lands costs them nothing (the metadata upload has already happened).

What each wallet needs

Each wallet must hold its buy amount, plus the 0.5% platform fee on that buy, plus a fixed buffer for the costs it pays beyond the buy:

RoleBufferWhat the buffer covers
Dev wallet0.031 SOLToken creation and rent (~0.02 SOL), the 0.01 SOL launch bundle tip, network fees
Bundle wallet0.003 SOLIts token account rent, network fees
Snipe wallet0.008 SOLIts token account rent, its own 0.005 SOL Jito tip, network fees

So a bundle wallet buying 0.5 SOL needs 0.5 × 1.005 + 0.003 = 0.5055 SOL. The wizard and the server use exactly the same numbers.

Pre-flight balance check

Before anything is uploaded or sent, the server reads every selected wallet's mainnet balance. If any wallet holds less than it needs, the launch is refused with a message naming each short wallet, for example Not enough SOL: Bundle wallet #2 has 0.0400, needs ~0.1035. If a balance can't be read, the launch is refused with balance unreadable, try again for that wallet. Nothing is spent in either case.

The server also refuses a launch that:

  • has more than 3 bundle wallets or more than 50 snipe wallets,
  • uses the same wallet in more than one place (for example as both a bundle and a snipe wallet),
  • has a buy amount that isn't a positive number, or is above 100 SOL.

The Fund panel

On steps 2, 4 and 5, a Fund wallets panel appears as soon as any wallet you selected can't cover its buy, fee and buffer. It groups the short wallets into dev, bundle and snipe, and shows the total to send. Each short wallet is topped up by what it is missing; the total adds 0.001 SOL per 8 wallets for network fees.

  • From existing wallet: pick a source (short wallets aren't offered) and click Fund N wallet(s). The button is disabled if the source can't cover the total. Transfers go out 8 per transaction.
  • One-time deposit address: fund the short wallets from Phantom, another wallet or an exchange. See Fund from an external wallet.
